Dedicated to Making a Change

PFAFT's Legal Assistance program provides transformation in the day-to-day lives of our community members.  We offer free to low-cost assistance to individuals seeking immigration related relief.  We help our neighbors with understanding their rights under the law, navigation efforts for pathways to citizenship, and help to obtain or replace certificates of citizenship for immigrants who have U.S citizenship through their parents.

Every individual deserves a chance to change their world to seek shelter and safe spaces.  Refugee and Asylees Legal Services provide free or at nominal cost to individuals seeking aid from persecution and protections under the law.

Understanding and Assisting with Deportation Court Proceedings

U.S. Immigration Law and the complexity of knowing your rights are in an ever changing state.  Removal proceedings can be alarming without proper knowledge.

Humanitarian Legal Services

Providing Aid to Victims of Crime and Providing Assistance to DACA Recipients

Temporary Protected Status offers solutions to unique situations such as, domestic violence and medical emergencies.  Special immigration programs such as DACA offers solutions where immigrants who only know the U.S. as home can thrive without the looming aspect of deportation and detention.

Bringing Solidarity, Trauma Focused Legal Representation for Unaccompanied Minors

Trauma focused legal representation for eligible minor children arriving in the United States without parents or legal guardians.

English to Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL)

Bridging Interpersonal, Critical-Thinking, and Problem-Solving Skills, while Engaging in the Proficiency of English Grammar Vocabulary

English to Speakers of Other Languages education provides adults and older youth the opportunity to gain confidence and self-sufficiency through literacy.  Our program provides critical-thinking, and problem-solving as a way to learn and grow as an English speaker.
