Citizenship Services

Legal immigrants seeking to become U.S. citizens endure many barriers and challenges through the long and strenuous  naturalization process.  This is particularly daunting for those with limited English-speaking skills.

How We Help

Our professional staff assists immigrants in applying for citizenship, provides navigation assistance to obtain documents such as certificates of citizenship who have U.S. citizenship through their parents and helps obtain documents that have been lost, stolen, or misplaced.

Citizenship Classes

PFAFT offers a 10-week citizenship course for those studying for the U.S. citizenship/naturalization test.  Two citizenship course levels are offered based on ESOL language proficiency levels.  Students must take an English pre-test to register and enroll in the courses.  In addition, students must present verification of their immigration status with immigration documents such as a residency card (green card) to enroll.  There is an additional $35 fee for educational materials.
